2002: The Year of the Rose

May 4, 2002 Consulting Rosarians from all across the country head out to their local Home Depot stores go give "How to Grow Beautiful Roses" Seminars. For an informative hour, shoppers and new rose growers get all their questions answered. I stopped by a few that day to see how they were going... (click on the images to see them larger)

		First stop was St Louis Park where Carole braved the busy vestibule for a few avid listeners.
		Then to Bloomington where Pat and Dave comandeered the training area for a bleacher's worth of rose questions.
		And finally in Burnsville I found Norma packing up her cart in the garden area (didn't want to get a speeding ticket you know).

March, 2002 Our club's booth at the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show was decorated with YOTR banner and theme. We spoke with hundreds of people, handed out many YOTR stickers and recruited new members.
 
Spring, 2002 Penny's garden is featured on the TV show Rebecca's Garden, airing both on our local channel as well as Home and Garden Channel on cable in May, June and August.
